Thatch Cottage is traditional Cotswolds stone cottage in a delightful village location not far from Cirencester. The property is a cosy one bed and perfect for a couple looking to escape to the countryside.

  • The space

The owners have sympathetically restored and tastefully decorated the cottage with uniquely styled interiors. The living room has two lush velvet sofas where you can curl up in front of the wood burner with a book and a glass of wine. Lots of the original features have been kept such as the inglenook fireplace, flagstone floor and beamed ceilings. The owners have added their own unique style with oriental style rugs, fine art and atmospheric lighting.

The kitchen has everything you need to cook a romantic meal. Nice touches like leaving vintage china, silver-plated cutlery and crystal glassware make the experience all the more authentic. The owners have provided a Nespresso machine so you can enjoy a morning coffee at the farmhouse table.

The romantic upstairs bedroom has beamed ceilings and wooden floorboards. It has a Flatscreen TV and DVD which you can enjoy from under the covers of the Laura Ashley bed. The bathroom features a free-standing bath which you can sink into and enjoy the views of the surrounding countryside. Deep-pile towels, complimentary toiletries and a Venetian mirror add to the luxurious feel.
